Learn to knit with glass!  Working with strands of wax, students will knit small objects to transform into glass using the lost-wax-casting process.   The class will cover all aspects of glass casting:  wax-working, spruing waxes, mold-making, kiln schedules, divesting and cold-working.  All levels are welcome.  But beginners should be prepared to be challenged.

 (Students can expect to complete 1-2 pieces – which will roughly fit into an 8”x8”x8” cube)

Class dates are: September 26, 27 & 28 with a one week break for kiln time and a final class on Oct 5th
