Hot Cast Glass

To make Hot cast glass, you scoop molten glass out of a furnace where glass is melted at around 2100 degrees Fahrenheit.

The glass is poured into some type of sand mold and then put into a large kiln called an annealer to cool slowly for several days or longer depending upon the thickness of the glass.
