You Can Leave Your Hat On

You Can Leave Your Hat On

In 2017, over 100,000 people downloaded the pattern to make a knitted "Pussyhat." I was one of them.

The goal of the Pussyhat movement is to create a platform for people to support women's rights, and each other, around the world. The January 21st protest resulted in the largest single-day demonstration in U.S. history.

"You Can Leave Your Hat On", is my tribute to that iconic event and my glass salute to the "Pussyhat Project" .

This is Your Brain on Knitting

This is Your Brain on Knitting

This was inspired by a pattern for a knitted hat made of I-cord sewn together to resemble the structure of a brain. It makes me laugh to think a knitter's brain might be made of I-cord. It comes with its own custom made metal stand.

Cozy

Cozy

A seated woman with her knees pulled into her chest, covered by a knitted glass cage like a "tea cozy". Is it to protect her? or keep her contained? Being made of glass, its protective ability is illusory.
